We understand that AI tools like ChatGPT and other generative platforms are increasingly being used to support job applications and, when used thoughtfully, they can be helpful in shaping early ideas or conducting research. However, we’ve seen a growing reliance on these tools, and we encourage applicants to use them with care. Responses generated largely or entirely by AI often lack the personal insight, lived experience, and authenticity we’re looking for and this can significantly weaken an application. At Equalitas, we value the unique perspectives, stories, and skills each candidate brings. We want to hear your voice, not just well-formed sentences. Strong applications are those that reflect who you are, how you think, and the real experiences that have transformed your journey. If we believe AI has been used in a way that compromises the integrity of your application, this may affect how your response is assessed.
