Alison Brady,
Head of SCITT, Associated Merseyside SCITT

I came into teaching as a career changer and have taught biology for 17 years. With a passion for teacher education and I enjoy mentoring and coaching new and experienced teachers to help them develop as teachers and leaders of education. I feel really privileged in my role as Head of SCITT that I can encourage others to join this great profession and support their career development. Over the last 6 years our provision has evolved from a small cohort of 15 secondary trainees into the strong partnership of 30 schools that form Associated Merseyside Partnership SCITT. We are currently training 75 trainees in primary and secondary schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
