George Pearson MA (Cantab) PGCE After a spell in business sandwiched between stints as a secondary science teacher, George started Cambridge Science Books in 1987. In 1989 he was a founding partner of Daniels Pearson Associates that provided training materials to the pharmaceutical industry and Pearson Publishing was formed in 1991. The Company was renamed Anspear in 2019 and has over 25 years experience of developing technological solutions to meet education and training challenges and now specialises in mobile learning. In addition to continuing to publish its own titles, Anspear now works with partners that use its mobile learning system to deliver their own content in a variety of sectors. His particular professional interests include leading and managing change, increasing social mobility, and encouraging independent learning. George is a experienced school governor and is currently a trustee of the Cam Trust.
