One of our members has asked the DfE when they can expect the AGR pre populated form for the AY17/18 in preparation for their audit. We thought that you might find the response helpful:
Unfortunately the guidance isn’t available yet as we are still waiting on NAO to complete their audit and give us their recommendations. Saying that from the on-going work there seems to be little wrong with our current approach so we imagine the guidance to remain mainly the same, the report format may change slightly to link it more to the grants but otherwise the general principles remain.
Guidance will be issued along with the requisite returns in early November for the AGR and slightly later for the Annex Gs if applicable.
