You will have seen in a previous post that the DfE are changing its guidance on the Disqualification by Association Regulations.
The new guidance, which does not come into force until 31st August, 2018 can be found here.
Under the new guidance, the regulations will no longer apply to school settings and you will therefore no longer need to carry out this additional check with your trainees.
