- When will SKE courses be available?
Following completion of the Spending Review, we will confirm the budget position and the approach to SKE for AY 20/21 including when candidates will be able to start a SKE course. We expect this confirmation will be in late November/December.
- Will there be any changes to SKE funding for AY 20/21 or will the arrangements for the programme be the same as for AY 19/20?
The budget has not been set for FY21-22 and will be influenced by the Spending Review settlement for the Department which is unlikely to be known until the end of November. It is possible that SKE funding and SKE subject availability /courses may change as we look to ensure we make best use of funds, given the increased interest in teaching. We will confirm the position after the Spending Review.
- When will SKE providers be informed of SKE allocations for AY 20/21?
Following the Spending Review settlement for the Department we will confirm the budget position and the approach to SKE for ITT2021. We expect this to be at end of November/December. SKE providers should not recruit candidates onto SKE courses until we confirm the position and their allocation of SKE units and funding.
