Overview
Instructional coaching is a model of teacher development which bridges the concepts of mentoring and coaching, and which guides novice teachers through a series of expertly designed steps to improving their practice.
Learning Outcomes
- Explore and understand the evidence base underpinning the instructional coaching approach to mentoring;
- Develop a model of instructional coaching underpinned by five key principles;
- Consider how a novice teacher’s knowledge and skills based can be sequenced over time to maximise learning and development;
- Understand how to put instructional coaching in action.

Cost
The cost for NASBTT Members is £140.00 per delegate.
The cost for non-members is £280.00 per delegate.
