Day one: 10.00a.m. – 4.30p.m. (Registration from 9.30a.m.) 

Day two: 9.45a.m – 4.30p.m. (Registration from 9.15a.m.)

Day three: 9.45a.m. – 4.30pm (Registration from 9.15a.m.)

NASBTT’s Teacher Educator Programmes are a suite of tailor-made programmes designed to provide professional development for Teacher Educators.

This Level 4 programme is suitable for SCITT or School Direct senior leaders.

This tailor-made programme will include the following modules:

  • The National Picture in ITT Support in Your Role Keeping Abreast of Developments
  • Compliance with the ITT Criteria
  • Curriculum Design and Review
  • Ofsted Inspection Framework: Self-Evaluation and Improvement Planning
  • Core Policies and Review Processes
  • Quality Assurance Processes, External Moderators and External Moderation, Distributed Leadership: Challenges and Opportunities
  • Assessment Against QTS; Evidence, Reflective Practice; Final Assessment Procedures; QTS Awarding Panels
  • Building and Developing Resilient Trainees
  • Marketing, Advertising and Recruitment
  • Overview of Funding Streams and Main Cost Centres
  • Building and Developing Resilient Trainees
  • Safer Recruitment
  • Data Protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Succession Planning Within the Organisation
  • “HR” Issues

The programme fee includes

  • Three days of tailored training;
  • One day follow up coaching visit (approximately six months after the programme);
  • Networking opportunities with peers;
  • Refreshments and lunch on all three days.

Who is this programme for?

You are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader in a SCITT/School Direct Lead School. You may be developing new provision or be new to the role in an established institution. You may also be an experienced ITT leader seeking to refresh your knowledge and understanding of this complex landscape. This programme will equip you with the skills you need to lead effective ITT provision in the schools-led sector.

We strongly recommend that delegates on this programme also undertake our Level 3 programme “Training Excellent Mentors, Coaches and Facilitators”

Cost

The cost for NASBTT members will be £1,250.00 per delegate.

The cost for non-members will be £2,500.00 per delegate.

NASBTT Certificate in Leading Schools-Led Provision

Delegates who complete the Level 3 programme (“Training Excellent Mentors, Coaches and Facilitators”) and both Level 4 programmes (“Effective SCITT and School Direct Management” and “Finance for SCITT and School Direct Managers”) will be entitled to receive the “NASBTT Certificate in Leading Schools-Led Provision”.

Payment and cancellation terms

Invoices will be issued on receipt of the booking. Full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 30 days before the date of the event and will be subject to an administration fee (10% of the delegate cost). Cancellations must be sent to events@nasbtt.org.uk. Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to the full delegate fee, which will also be charged in the event of non-attendance.
Name changes can be made at any time, up to the day before the event at no charge.
NASBTT will not be able to offer refunds for cancellations arising from events outside of its control.
NASBTT reserves the right to alter the programme and change the speakers without prior notice.
