NASBTT’s Teacher Educator Programmes are a suite of tailor-made programmes designed to provide professional development for Teacher Educators.

This Level 4 programme is suitable for SCITT or School Direct senior leaders.

This tailor programme will include the following modules:

  • Who Are You? (Governance and Key Responsibilities)
  • An Introduction to Business Planning
  • Boom or Bust – An Introduction to Profit and Loss Statements and Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Understanding Fixed and Variable Costs
  • Runaway Bride – An Introduction to Budgetary Management
  • Procurement and Tendering
  • Snakes and Ladders – An Introduction to Managing Risk

The programme fee includes:

  • Two days of tailored training;
  • Resources;
  • Networking opportunities with peers;
  • Refreshments and lunch on both days.

Please note, overnight accommodation is not included.

Who is this programme for?

You are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader in a SCITT or School Direct Lead School. You may be developing new provision or be new to the role in an established institution. You may also be an experienced ITT leader seeking to refresh your knowledge and understanding of this complex landscape. This programme will equip you with the skills you need to lead effective ITT provision in the schools-led sector.

We strongly recommend that delegates on this programme also undertake our Level 4 module Effective SCITT and School Direct Management.

Cost

The cost for NASBTT members will be £775.00 per delegate.

The cost for non-members will be £1,550.00 per delegate.

NASBTT Certificate in Leading Schools-Led Provision

Delegates who complete the Level 3 programme Training Excellent Mentors, Coaches and Facilitators and both Level 4 programmes Effective SCITT and School Direct Management and Finance for SCITT and School Direct Managers) will be entitled to receive the NASBTT Certificate in Leading Schools-Led Provision.

Payment and cancellation terms

Invoices will be issued on receipt of the booking. Full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 30 days before the date of the event and will be subject to an administration fee (10% of the delegate cost). Cancellations must be sent to events@nasbtt.org.uk. Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to the full delegate fee, which will also be charged in the event of non-attendance.
Name changes can be made at any time, up to the day before the event at no charge.
NASBTT will not be able to offer refunds for cancellations arising from
