Salary: SCITT Programme Lead (Soulbury Scale: Points 9-12 (£47,522 – £51,425)

The Management Committee of this highly successful and ambitious SCITT are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious and experienced leader to build upon our SCITT’s ‘Good’ Ofsted grading and excellent local reputation.
The Role
As SCITT Programme Lead and member of the Senior Leadership Team you will work alongside the Management Committee and SCITT team to lead and further develop the quality of our ITT provision (SCITT PGCE with QTS). Our specialist primary SCITT offering 3-7 and 5-11 training programmes has a very strong reputation.
Key SCITT responsibilities
- Lead the primary SCITT programme to strengthen our good Ofsted grading and strive for excellence
- Assist with accreditation documentation
- Develop a marketing and recruitment strategy to continue grow the size of our SCITT
- Strategic development of the course content responding to the local and national needs and opportunities of ITT, including all policy changes
- Further develop strong relationships with all of our partner schools and add to them
- Co-ordinate and quality assure all aspects of the course through high quality training, monitoring, holding to account and intervention
- Maximise the progress and professional development of all trainee teachers
- Lead and develop a highly dedicated team
- Undertaking rigorous self-evaluation and improvement planning
- Strategically set and manage the SCITT budget
- Be ambitious for the SCITT.
