If you haven’t already done so, we would recommend that you download the Management Handbook for Schools-Led Initial Teacher Training (ITT). The Handbook has principally been written to support those with responsibility for the strategic and operational management and administration of programmes of schools-led ITT. The Handbook has been split into three distinct sections: ITT Provision and Responsibilities, Applicant Journey and Trainee Journey. We strongly encourage providers to refer to the Handbook; colleagues new to ITT will find it particularly helpful in understanding the complex sector.
You might also find the Operational Calendar for Schools-Led Initial Teacher Training (ITT) helpful in planning your operational and administrative tasks. The calendar is available as a pdf version or an Excel version which you can adapt to suit your provision.
