As we near the end of another academic year, we want to take a moment to thank you – our Members – for your unwavering dedication, resilience and professionalism.

It has been yet another year of challenge and change across the sector. The demands on ITT providers continue to grow and we know how tirelessly you have worked to support your trainees, your colleagues and your wider communities. Your commitment does not go unnoticed and your impact is felt far beyond your own organisations.

As we now head into the Summer break, we encourage you to take time to pause, rest and prioritise your own wellbeing. For those carrying significant responsibilities, it can be all too easy to overlook your own needs – but taking a step back is essential, both for your own renewal and for those you support.

To help you make the most of this time, here are a few simple ways to recharge:

Unplug from screens: Disconnect from devices to give your mind time to reset.

  • Get outdoors: Fresh air, daylight and nature can lift your energy and clarity.
  • Create boundaries: Set firm limits on work availability and protect your personal time.
  • Do what brings you joy: Whether it’s reading, walking, painting or simply resting – lean into what restores you.
  • Connect with what matters: Spend time with loved ones or take quiet moments for personal reflection.

Whatever your plans, I, and the rest of the NASBTT Team, hope the summer brings you the space to refresh, reset and refocus.

With sincere thanks for all that you do.

Kind regards
