Tracey Maloney
ITT Director, e-Qualitas
Tracey Maloney has worked in education for more than 25 years. She began her career as a teacher of English, then working as Head of Department and in SLT roles across a range of contexts. Leaving schools, she became a Subject Advisor for Richmond Upon Thames and has since worked as an independent English consultant, reviewing, and auditing the teaching and learning in a variety of schools and settings. She has worked as a literacy consultant for the London Grid for Learning, helping to design curriculum content for English departments and working with authors to further promote reading in schools on Reading Zone Live. Dedication to the subject of English has led to her joining the Board as a Trustee of the English Association where she is also a Fellow.
A keen interest in curriculum development has led to a position as Trustee of a large MAT, The David Ross Education Trust, chairing the education committee and overseeing the development of a trust wide curriculum to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of pupils in all trust schools. She remains committed to working with teachers and leaders to further develop their knowledge and skills, whilst sharing and discovering new approaches and discourse around education.
Tracey is the ITT Director at eQualitas, overseeing the primary and secondary training programmes, working with a curriculum team to nurture a genuine passion for teaching, modelling a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development, placing evidence-based research in the foreground of the eQualitas training.
