Zoe completed an engineering degree and worked in industry prior to taking up a teaching post as part of the Graduate Teaching Programme. She has worked in education for 20 years in both secondary mainstream and special education settings as a maths specialist, SENCO and in leadership roles. She is passionate about SEND and the provision of resources and support to ensure fair access to all to improve outcomes for learners with SEND. Zoe has been at nasen over 2 ½ years and has brought her expertise to projects supporting and advancing SEND across the UK and internationally. Her big ambition is to continue to promote awareness of neurodivergence and SEND and showcasing the positives that this brings for developing a truly inclusive society.
