The Teacher Workforce Analysis Unit have asked us to share the following tool with you:

We have published the 3rd Teachers Analysis Compendium which can be found here. This includes information using our new data linking methodology to look the destination of trainees following ITT. This includes interactive maps for each region showing the distance travelled from each ITT provider.

Alongside the compendium, Microsoft published a Power BI tool on their blog that we have been working on providing advice on their use of our data.

The tool is an interactive dashboard that will allow users to visualise national, regional and LA level data from the School Workforce Census in an informative way. Users will be able to examine time series data for a range of different measures at the click of a button; for example, users can easily examine how the headcount of teachers within the schools of York has varied over time. Measures from the published data are broken down within the tool into staff number, staff characteristics, and absence and vacancies. The blog post written by Microsoft containing the tool can be found here.

We very much welcome feedback on any of the above.
