Thank you for your contribution so far to the Teaching Internship (TI) programme 2019-20.
No decision has been made on the timetable for re-opening schools. As such, we will continue to review whether the programme can be delivered in June and provide further updates in due course.
However, we understand that these uncertain and unprecedented times may mean your organisation no longer wishes to deliver the 2019-20 programme. If this is the case, please can you confirm your intention to withdraw from the programme as soon as possible by emailing: Teaching.Internships@education.gov.uk.
If you are continuing with the programme, you should submit your MI data form as soon as possible, no later than the revised date of Friday 29th May to initiate the 80% payment process. The MI data form must be submitted via Egress for data protection purposes. Instructions for use of Egress will follow.
Please do not make any unnecessary travel in order to access paper records to complete your returns. If you are unable to complete the relevant returns in the proposed timeframe, please contact the team to discuss further.
