The Classical Association has launched a Teaching Awards scheme this year to recognise outstanding teaching and/or innovative pre-university education initiatives. Up to five prizes of £500 each will be awarded annually to individuals or school/college-based projects whose work is felt to have had a significant and positive impact on the teaching of Classics in the UK. Notably one of the award categories is Outstanding new teacher (in teaching for up to three years).
The invitation to nominate for the CA Teaching Awards is now on the Classical Association website here. Nominations can be made online here or by downloading a Word version of the form and emailing it to office@classicalassociation.org The closing date for nominations is Friday, 26 February 2021.
