Role: End Point Assessor for the Level 6 Teaching Apprenticeship
Location: Nationwide (England)
Pay: £350 per assessment plus travel expenses*

*Where an assessor is not self-employed, this payment will be made to the employer for release time

Are you a current or former teacher with experience working with and assessing trainee teachers or Early Career Teachers? The Tommy Flowers SCITT is an ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted) ITT provider based in Milton Keynes. As an independent End Point Assessment Organisation, we complete End Point Assessments (EPA) for the Level 6 Teaching Apprenticeship across England and are recruiting assessors.

All apprenticeships contain an End Point Assessment which is a holistic assessment of the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) that have been learnt throughout the 12-month apprenticeship. Your role will be to make accurate and consistent judgements on whether the apprentice is competent in their job role. This will be through a lesson observation, dialogue about the observed lesson and professional discussion about the Teachers’ Standards. The EPA is completed alongside representatives from the employing school and apprenticeship provider.

Training is provided for all our End Point Assessors. Due to growth, we are particularly keen to
accept applications from interested Assessors in the following areas:

  • Cambridgeshire
  • Peterborough
  • Norwich
  • Devon
  • Dorset

Apply

Closing date for applications: Friday 31st March 2023
Interviews will be held remotely on or before: Friday 5th May 2022

Interested applicants can forward a full CV to epa@st-pauls.org.uk with a brief covering letter outlining their relevant experience, including the contact details of two referees who can verify their suitability to be an End Point Assessor. Please also include the area(s) you can cover.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
