The cycle application cycle is open
We’re pleased to confirm the 2021 UCAS Teacher Training application cycle is officially open.
This means potential applicants can now register and apply for teacher training programmes starting in 2021 – so be prepared to receive your first applications from today.
If you haven’t already take a look at:
- Our UCAS Teacher Training admissions guide – you’ll find all the key dates and an overview of how to process applications.
- The recording of our webinar with the Department for Education’s (DfE) – here we shared more information about how the 2021 cycle will run.
Please note, shortly after opening the cycle there was an issue which meant that some providers and courses were not visible in UCAS Teacher Training Apply –this was quickly resolved, and all providers and courses are showing as they should.
As always, if you have any queries, contact our HEP team on 0344 984 1111, or email hep_team@ucas.ac.uk.
Missed our October regional forums? Not a problem…
Earlier this month we held two regional forums to learn about your experiences, garner best practice, and seek feedback ahead of the opening of the 2021 cycle.
If you couldn’t make a session, there’s no need to worry we’ve recorded the first forum and you can watch the playback here.
It’s not too late to give us your feedback, if there’s anything you’d like to share email Lynsey Hopkins, UCAS Teacher Training Relationship Manager: l.hopkins@ucas.ac.uk
Upcoming key date: Apply 2 opens on 27 October
Students who were unsuccessful in their original application will be able to use Apply 2 from Tuesday 27 October.
Kind regards
UCAS Teacher Training
