Director of Norfolk Teacher Training Centre
£60,000 pa, 36 hrs per week, 52 wks per year
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the training of the next generation of school teachers.
Norfolk Teacher Training Centre (NTTC) has grown consistently every year for since it was created in 2014 and currently has over 60 trainee teachers. In 2018/19, NTTC began Primary Teacher training alongside its established Secondary programme and has led the way regionally in opening up the Apprenticeship route for Schools Based Teacher Training.
You will provide a strong effective leadership in delivering high quality learning programmes to trainee teachers. You will also manage and lead on the delivery, development and maintenance of a quality provision for the NTTC. Leading a small team of experienced and dedicated staff, you will also be responsible for maintenance and development of our partnerships with over 55 local schools, which is integral in making the NTTC programme so successful.
Applicants should have a first degree and/or relevant qualification, a teaching qualification (including QTS/QTLS) and recent extensive experience of working in a management or leadership role within a secondary or primary education environment.
