If so, why not apply to become a SCITT Director of the Mid-Somerset Consortium based at Crispin Academy where you will be accountable for delivering and supporting ITT Training?
Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
- The ability to collaborate with other Teaching School Hubs, other providers and NASBTT to develop mentoring and lead mentoring training programmes and resources for 2024 ITT programme.
- Demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for ITT
- Experience of supporting trainee teachers in all aspects of their professional studies
- A proven track record of coordinating and managing lead mentors and subject leaders in their role of delivery of the ITT training programme.
- Experience of monitoring in-school mentor and ITT programmes
- Experience of delivering high quality teacher training.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to positively influence all levels of the organisation.
- Be excited to support and share expertise across a wide range of schools and be able to travel to all the schools and academies to effectively deliver high quality teacher training.
