The Constellation Trust Board of Directors and CEO are seeking to appoint to the following post:

Primary SCITT Assistant Lead

  • Grade: L1-5
  • Contract: 1 day per week (plus as needed during the 5 Assessment Points and key training points throughout the year)
  • Salary: YHTT will fund the salary and on costs plus any supply costs. Mileage expenses will be paid.
  • Start date: ASAP

This is an exciting new role as a Primary SCITT Assistant Lead for someone who is passionate about developing trainee teachers in their first years of their teaching career and supporting the MAT and SCITT partnership of schools to meet its local recruitment needs.

This is a strategic role for the support and development of the Primary Programme. The post holder will work closely with the Primary Lead and will be accountable to the SCITT Director of YHTT and the SCITT Board. The post will be part of a larger ITT team across the Partnership of schools and they will be expected to play a role in the early career development of Primary trainees.
