Are you a current or former teacher with experience working with and assessing trainee teachers or Early Career Teachers? The Tommy Flowers SCITT is an ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted) ITT provider based in Milton Keynes. As an independent End Point Assessment Organisation, we complete End Point Assessments (EPA) for the Level 6 Teaching Apprenticeship across England and are recruiting assessors in all regions of the country.
All apprenticeships contain an End Point Assessment which is a holistic assessment of the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) that have been learnt throughout the 12-month apprenticeship. Your role will be to make accurate and consistent judgements on whether the apprentice is competent in their job role. This will be through a lesson observation, dialogue about the observed lesson and professional discussion about the Teachers’ Standards. The EPA is completed alongside representatives from the employing school and apprenticeship provider.
Training is provided for all our End Point Assessors. Due to growth, we are pleased to accept applications from interested Assessors in all locations in England. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates in the following regions:
- Birmingham
- Cambridgeshire
- Derbyshire
- Devon
- Dorset
- Gloucestershire
- Greater Manchester
- Hampshire
- Kent
- London
- Norfolk
- Northamptonshire
- Northumberland
- Nottinghamshire
- Yorkshire
