This training will cover:
- How to prepare for the role of the External Moderator – advance reading, discussions and planning,
- How to identify and report strengths and areas for further development from an external perspective;
- How to undertake moderation in relation to the award of QTS.
This training will include several case studies for delegates to discuss and evaluate.
It is great to see training available for ITT leaders preparing to take on the role of External Moderator. This system of peer evaluation is a critical element of maintaining quality and equity across our school-led ITT provision.
