Louise is a passionate education professional with 17 years of experience in pastoral and curriculum leadership roles at middle and senior leadership level. Louise’s background in psychology has driven her teaching practice in both pedagogy and leadership. As a Teaching and Learning Specialist (TLS), she has championed whole-school pedagogical initiatives and led research-based Collaborative Action Research projects (CARs). Her passion for developing others has included developing teachers as part of the ECT and PGCE programmes, and leading CPD across the school and at a tri-borough level.

Louise’s professional mission is to support the development of educators to improve their own confidence and practice, and therefore the learning experiences and outcomes of young people. As such she made the move from teaching into teacher development, joining Teacher Development Trust in May 2023 as a Curriculum Associate, working across the NPQ suite. Currently, Louise is part of the TDT team working in partnership with Salesforce as part of their AI Accelerator programme, developing an AI-powered training tool for teachers.
