CCT

The Chartered College of Teaching (CCT) is the professional body for teaching, a not-for-profit charity independent of government, and described by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF, 2021) as a “trusted broker of evidence” on what makes teaching and leadership most effective.

To recognise the vital role sector organisations play in teacher support and development, the Chartered College has developed a membership package designed specifically for organisations such as Teaching School Hubs, Higher Education Institutions, SCITTs, local education partnerships, local authorities and other training providers.

What does the package include?

Developed in consultation with sector organisations, the package provides a wide range of tailored benefits, including:

  • Professional Affiliate membership for five staff – access to the MyCollege research database, the award-winning Impact journal, plus events and webinars.

  • Special collection of Impact journal articles – downloadable PDF sets on key topics such as cognitive load theory, subject knowledge, oracy, and curriculum, to use in your courses and resources.

  • Institutional Member designation – with exclusive Chartered College badging.

  • Bespoke expert webinar – delivered by the Chartered College team on themes such as research engagement, teacher development or professional culture.

  • Two places on the Certificate in Evidence-Informed Practice online course.

What does it cost?

The full package has a combined value of over £1,000, but is offered to the sector for £750 per year.
As a further benefit, NASBTT members receive an exclusive 10% discount, reducing the cost to just £675 annually.

In addition to accessing valuable professional resources, subscribing also demonstrates your commitment to the profession and is formally recognised through your Institutional Member Status badge.

How to get started

If you would like to explore this opportunity, contact Carrie Loughran-Smith, Partnerships Manager, at partnerships@charteredcollege. The Chartered College is also happy to discuss adaptations to the package, such as increasing the number of memberships to suit your organisation.
