Overview
Join us for our Member Workshop focused on SEND in ITT, offering space to reflect on how SEND provision is developing across ITT programmes.
This interactive session will bring together experiences from across the sector, sharing insights into how SEND is being embedded within programmes and partnerships. With a focus on reflection and shared learning, the workshop will explore what is working well, where challenges are emerging and how providers are responding in practice.
Alongside this, the session will connect to NASBTT’s wider SEND work, offering additional context to support ongoing development across the sector.
Drawing on provider experiences and sector insights the session will consider approaches to strengthening SEND within ITT, supporting trainee confidence and ensuring a more consistent and high-quality experience.
The session will cover:
- Reflections on how SEND is currently positioned within ITT provision
- Approaches to embedding SEND across programmes and partnerships
- Supporting trainee development and confidence in SEND
- Themes from NASBTT’s SEND Co-Creation work
- Challenges, adaptations and lessons learned
- Opportunity for questions and discussion
Through a combination of shared practice, discussion and reflection, this workshop will offer a supportive space to deepen your understanding and consider your next steps.
There will be opportunities to engage with colleagues, share experiences and learn from practice across the sector.
