Overview

The SEND in ITT Networking Forum provides an opportunity for teacher educators to explore, discuss and share best practices in training and supporting trainees to work effectively with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This discussion forum is designed to address the unique challenges of SEND within ITT programmes, ensuring trainees are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality education for all learners.

Participants will engage in collaborative discussions and exchange insights relating to the SEND provision within their ITT programmes.

Co-hosted by James Coleman, NASBTT’s Head of Operations and Matt McArthur, Deputy Headteacher, Frank Wise School, this networking event will be led by delegate contributions which will inform the discussion.

Please note that as this event is designed to be a discussion forum rather than an information session, we will not be recording the event.
