When a candidate withdraws their initial teacher training (ITT) application, we ask them to provide a reason. We do not show this reason on their individual application. This gives candidates an opportunity to provide honest feedback anonymously. It also protects personal information they may not want to share.
To help providers understand trends, withdrawal reasons are available through an aggregated report. Providers can access this once they have at least 10 withdrawn candidates in a cycle. This protects candidate anonymity while still providing insights into why candidates withdraw.
