I am pleased to announce that today we have published the Review’s Interim Report, which is available to read here. This report sets out our initial analysis of the evidence and how this is informing the development of the next stage of the Review, as we work to refresh the curriculum and assessment system to make sure it meets the needs of every child and young person.
Since the launch of the Curriculum and Assessment Review in July, we have been gathering a range of evidence including commissioning a range of research and polling, analysing existing data, and taking evidence from experts, stakeholders and the public, including receiving over 7,000 responses to our Call for Evidence and over 3,600 attendees at in-person and online events. This collective evidence has been pivotal in informing our initial analysis and in turn the Interim Report.
