The newly updated (May 2023) Curriculum Design and Assessment Toolkit has been thoroughly revised to ensure that it continues to offer flexible support to providers as they review and further develop their programmes to meet the minimum requirements of the ITT Core Content Framework, Early Career Framework and the ITE requirements for 2024.
The intention of the toolkit is to offer accessible, research-based, insights into key aspects of ITE curricular design – both for trainees and for mentors. The toolkit also highlights appropriate approaches to assessment which are compatible with current national expectations.
This session will launch the toolkit and provide opportunities for engagement and discussion via breakout rooms.
Delegates attending this workshop will gain a working knowledge of the 2023 CD&A Toolkit and through discussions with others will gain ideas for the implementation of key aspects.
