Following the procurement exercise for Early Roll Out of the Early Career Framework (ECF), the Department is now preparing for National Roll Out (NRO).
National Roll Out (NRO) is due to be launched from September 2021. We are keen to seek your input and views which will help to inform decisions on the final package of support we will offer to new teachers. Once NRO is fully in place, we anticipate investing an additional £130m every year in ECF induction. This represents a considerable investment of funding and fundamentally changes the approach we are taking to inducting teachers.
