1. Subject Knowledge Enhancement Package October 2024 – March 2025
The Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) package is reviewed annually. After our latest review, we can confirm that for the first 6 months of academic year 2024 to 2025 (October 2024 to March 2025), we will offer funded SKE provision in chemistry, computing, languages, maths and physics.
In October, our SKE directory will be updated to direct applicants towards available SKE providers.
Arrangements for April to September 2025 will be confirmed following the spending review which will determine the funding available to support SKE delivery in that period.
Should you have any questions, please contact us at SKE.INBOX@education.gov.uk.
2. Autumn 2024 Get Into Teaching events spaces available
The Get Into Teaching autumn term event programme has been confirmed and spaces are available for training providers.
Events are regionally focused, please only apply for events in your region as we can only host a limited number of providers.
A list of events and further information on the autumn programme is available on the booking form linked below.
Spaces will be allocated, and providers notified in the week commencing 7 October.
If you are interested in a space, please complete the booking form by 5pm on 27 September provider booking form.
3. Rollover of 2024 courses
Rollover of 2024 courses to be edited and published ready for the 2025 recruitment cycle is underway. So far, we’ve seen 981 courses published by 97 providers (data as of 20 Aug 2024).
Before 1 October, check and publish your rolled over courses.
If you do not publish your courses, they will not appear on Find teacher training (Find). Last year, almost 50,000 people visited Find in the first week.
