We are growing!  In 2022, we have experienced significant growth and 2023 is looking just as exciting for us. With this in mind, we are looking for 2 enthusiastic and ambitious people to join our fantastic administration team based in the heart of Soho, London.

As an organisation who are the largest provider of the Teaching Apprenticeship Programme, we are passionate about the service we provide to our schools and our trainees.

In this varied and interesting role, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting the journey of all trainees from enrolment to becoming a qualified teacher and beyond, and for monitoring their progression throughout.

You will provide administrative support to the Head of Admissions to ensure that the Admissions team are able to deliver on all priorities as and when needed, as well as on company targets.

Due to the nature of our business, we are heavily regulated by Ofsted and the Department for Education (DfE), therefore high levels of compliance and attention to detail are critical skills for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking the eligibility and suitability of each applicant
  • Reviewing all documentation from schools and trainees and issuing offers of training with appropriate conditions
  • Ensuring all compliance checks are in place
  • Collecting and entering all data accurately onto the learner management systems
  • Registering trainees on all ITT routes with the DfE
  • Monitoring the progress of learners and processing cause for concerns, deferrals, and withdrawals
  • Dealing with daily enquiries from candidates via email and telephone and liaising with the appropriate internal/external staff
  • Compiling and running regular reports and cross-checking information to ensure that all data is accurate
  • Collating information regarding change of personal or school details and updating trainee records where necessary
  • Reviewing and process all QTS assessments and applying for QTS for trainees
  • Liaising with finance and compliance to ensure all queries are handled efficiently
  • Enrolling and monitoring trainees on Subject Knowledge Courses
  • Assisting with training days
  • Taking minutes of key meetings
  • Other adhoc duties

We are looking for someone who is customer focused, extremely organised, who has previous administrative experience and who has highly proficient IT skills.

  • Able to prioritise and meet specific deadlines
  • Adept at working on many different tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone mannaer
  • Professional and efficient approach to work;
  • Adept in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Good at sorting issues in a calm, patient manner
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience of working in the Education sector and knowledge of the DfE’s ITT criteria and the ESFA funding rules (desirable, but not essential)

To support the wellbeing of our team, we operate a hybrid working pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Laptop and mobile phone will be provided as will full training and the support of a fantastic team.

Benefits include a basic salary of £25,000 to £27,500 depending on experience, plus a generous holiday allowance AND your birthday off!
