Overview

As the new Ofsted framework has been implemented and inspections have taken place, it is clear that depth across the curriculum is a key focus for inspectors and providers. It is essential that trainees within the primary phase feel confident teaching across the entire curriculum and value each subject for the benefit of the children they will teach. This session is designed to recognise some of the unique and very real challenges that exist for primary providers trying to squeeze everything into a one-year programme and offer solutions in the form of case studies and examining current research and theory relating to curriculum design.
