Introducing Ofsted’s ITE Inspection Data Summary Report
In March 2021, Ofsted is launching a new Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR) for ITE partnerships. The report summarises key data from Ofsted and DfE for inspectors to consult when preparing for an inspection. It aims to provide inspectors with insights into the data to prompt initial questions and to reduce inspector time spent analysing data. The report includes data on entry routes, subjects entered for, characteristics of new trainees, responses to the Trainee Online Questionnaire, and QTS and employment outcomes. The report will also be made available for providers to consult. Rebecca Driffield and Martin Griffiths from Ofsted’s Data and Insight team will give an overview of the purpose and content of the report and answer any questions you have prior to the launch.
