From September 2025, the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework will align with the Early Career Framework, as the ITTECF, with the hope of supporting teacher retention. In this session, Professor Tanya Ovenden-Hope (Plymouth Marjon University), Holly Kirkpatrick (University of Buckingham) and Rob Caudwell (Penrose Education) will explore the lead-up to – and the possibilities presented by – this shift, drawing on insights from Early Career Teachers, mentors, and induction leads.
