It will come as no surprise that many children can’t get mental health support in their school. That’s why this Children’s Mental Health Week, I am asking for support so Place2Be can reach more children who desperately need our help.
Being available ‘on the ground’ makes a real difference and prevents ordinary and traumatic changes from overwhelming a child and a family’s ability to cope. I recently worked with one family who suffered a bereavement. Fortunately Place2Be was there for them when the confusing feelings of the loss of their dad overwhelmed them.
That’s why this Children’s Mental Health Week I would like to ask you if you can help with a £7 donation so that one more child can have the opportunity to talk to someone like me.
I am so grateful for any help you are able to give.
