The Professional Development Consortium in Modern Foreign Languages (PDC in MFL) was set up by researchers at the University of Reading Institute of Education and University of Oxford Department of Education, working with classroom language teachers and teacher trainers in England. They have developed a website which has a wealth of resources based on 8 key research-based principles for learning and teaching languages that can be use in MFL departments with colleagues and trainees.
