Strategic Leadership in ITT
An online course facilitated by Helen Ostell and Joanne Clifford Swan
Course Aims
- To support ITT leaders in evaluating their own strategic practices, as well as those of their team
- To support ITT leaders in embedding strategic work across their team
- To support ITT leaders in their strategic positioning for 2025/26 and beyond.
Course Overview
The course will consist of 6 x 75-minute online sessions, 3 during the Summer Term and 3 in the Autumn Term. Delegates will be asked to complete short tasks, relevant to their own provision, between sessions. Places will be limited to 20 delegates.
- Session 1: Strategic Leadership: What does it look like? –Wednesday 21.05.25 (9.15am to 10.30am)
- Session 2: Strategic Leadership: Vision for Excellence –Tuesday 03.06.25 (9.15am to 10.30am)
- Session 3: Strategic Leadership: Teamwork and Collective Responsibility –Tuesday 17.06.25 (9.15am to 10.30am)
- Session 4: Strategic Leadership: Quality Assurance –Tuesday 30.09.25 (9.15am to 10.30am)
- Session 5: Strategic Leadership: Self-Evaluation –Wednesday 15.10.25 (9.15am to 10.15am)
- Session 6: Strategic Leadership: From Self-Evaluation to Improvement Planning –Wednesday 12.11.25 (9.15am to 10.30am)
