The Supporting Successful Learning in Schools (Primary and Secondary) online courses.

Two free online courses for supporting successful learning in schools, one for primary and one for secondary are starting soon.

They have been carefully curated by the University of Reading  Online Courses team and online social learning platform FutureLearn.com, with the expert guidance of Professor Helen Bilton.

The courses are primarily aimed at support staff working in schools, but parents, trainee teachers, teachers and those thinking of going into teaching/education  as a career have commented on how valuable the courses have been.

Topics include how to manage a classroom, how to help develop children’s language and how children learn. Learners will also hear first-hand from teachers, children and pupils about their view of school and education.
