In light of the current pandemic and the impact and implications on children, NASBTT is pleased to offer members a Trauma and Bereavement training session specially tailored for Teacher Educators and trainees.
Trauma and Bereavement, with particular reference to COVID-19 – What do trainees need to know?

1.00p.m. – 4.00p.m.
This training session will address:
- What constitutes a traumatic event and how it impacts upon children and young people
- Recognising the role of the family and other adults around children in assisting them to “process” their traumatic experiences
- Supporting bereaved children – what every teacher should know
- An introduction to a range of resources for use with trainees
