AET is one of the largest academy trusts in the country, with a network of primary, secondary and special schools spanning nearly every region in the country.

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence, we are kicking off a major recruitment drive. This will see us building our in-house education improvement capacity and expertise, making sure that our schools have all the support they need to deliver an excellent education for every child, every day.

Great teachers make a difference and are fundamental for the success of our schools. Our expectations are high and we want to support and develop the next generation of teachers to ensure the very best outcomes for our young people. In this new role you will be the driving force in establishing, designing and delivering highly effective initial teacher education. Every trainee deserves a great training experience to sky rocket their career in teaching.

Our aim is to have trainees who will be inspired to have a successful career in teaching within the Trust.

You will be an exceptional teacher with a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching. You will have experience of developing and delivering successful evidence based teacher training programmes.  You will be an experienced leader, with the drive and determination to lead initial teacher education successfully across the Trust.

As we move into this next phase, we are looking to recruit a whole host of new roles to support our network of schools. This will see us really ramping up the support we provide and the pace of school improvement and development work across the trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to join our organisation and be part of this exciting journey.

If you can talk to us about your passion for training new teachers, your demonstrable impact as a leader and your ability to work at scale across multiple schools please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.

We offer:

  • More training and development, so you can get better at what you do.
  • More support for you and your loved ones – a health cash plan, lifestyle savings discounts, employee loans and savings scheme, and employee assistance programme.
  • More technology so you can have more impact.
