The Deputy Head of ECF with ITT – Primary will have a proven track record of effective teacher development which has led to improved pupil outcomes. This is a crucial role within our trust improvement strategy to add capacity to our existing Head of ECF with ITT.

The successful candidate will initially be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational running of our Primary ITT programmes across the trust, whilst working with academy leaders to ensure effective implementation of the ECF at a Primary level. They will be an experienced school/ITT leader who will enjoy working with the respective Headteachers, Senior Leaders and Directors on designing, delivering and evaluating these programmes to embed and grow the impact and quality of the Co-op Academy Trust provision.

The Deputy Head of ECF with ITT – Primary will need to know the wider curriculum and provision in detail including the ITT Core Content Framework, Early Career Framework and National Curriculum and will already be an expert curriculum leader who currently teaches. Co-op Academies Trust will be committed to developing your leadership skills and you will be supported and guided by our Head of ECF with ITT, working with our Primary academies and their senior leaders on developing the trust ITT and ECF provision. You will be responsible for raising standards within teacher recruitment and retention, ensuring all academies align fully with the trust provision and Ofsted expectations.
