£53,209 – £59,625 per annum (Soulbury Range: Points 14 – 17 or 18 – 19)*
37 hours per week
Fixed Term or Secondment for up to 2 years from September 2022

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated person who is a specialist in the secondary phase to provide strong and dynamic leadership for our Secondary SCITT Programmes.

The post will be based in Ipswich but frequent travel to Norwich and across East Anglia will be required.


Your role

The Secondary SCITT programmes are part of the highly successful Suffolk and Norfolk School Centred Initial Teacher Training organisation which includes:

  • Primary SCITT Salaried and Tuition
  • Secondary SCITT Salaried and Tuition
  • Assessment Only Route to QTS (AO Route)

The SCITT programmes offer popular and individualised routes into initial teacher training.

Soulbury Range Salary*

  • Points 14 – 17: £53,209 – £57,114
  • Points 18 – 19: £58,350 – £59,625 are awarded upon successful completion of the Structured Professional Assessment process

You will have:

  • successful experience with working with secondary trainee teachers
  • a proven track record as an inspirational leader
  • a track record of successful teaching within the secondary phase
  • a track record in initiative and innovation leading to positive outcomes
  • excellent interpersonal, communication and training skills.
