The introduction of Teaching School Hubs is a significant, national DfE reform, which is part of the government’s current recruitment and retention strategy for teachers.
We are designated as the Teaching School Hub for all 238 schools in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Newham. Shaftesbury Primary School, in the Boleyn Trust, is the lead school.
We commit to regular communication with all schools and LAs across the tri-borough area – including secondary, primary, special and AP, whether academies or maintained. Our vision is that the Teaching School Hub is fully inclusive, collaborative and for all schools.
The TSH has five specific initial responsibilities:
▪ Delivery of the Early Career Framework

▪ Other Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
The successful candidate must be ambitious and be passionate about the importance of the highest quality training and professional development.
