Following the publication of the Early Career Framework, we are inviting expressions of interest to form a working party to consider teacher educator training and development.  The aim of this working party will be to establish a framework of competencies for school-based teacher educators.

We anticipate including a total of five people in the working party and seek a range of experiences and expertise in order to shape well-rounded provision.  We are also seeking a diversity in terms of geographical location, as well as programme types and provider size.  Most importantly, we are looking for proven experience of facilitating high quality mentor training and development.

In the first instance, we anticipate one full day face-to-face meeting in March with some follow up work to be completed remotely.  You must have availability on either 13th or 14th March 2019 to attend the meeting.

Reasonable travel expenses will be paid (train tickets will be purchased centrally).  In line with working party procedures agreed by the Trustees, time for attendance or completing any follow up will not be funded.

Please submit an expression of interest by Monday, 25th February 2019 by completing the Google Form which can be found here
