Routledge have just published a book that is a ‘must buy’ for anyone mentoring beginning history teachers. “Mentoring History Teachers in the Secondary School A Practical Guide” by Victoria Crooks, Laura London and Terry Haydn is published by Routledge and is a synthesis of best practice. The authors are hugely experienced teacher educators themselves and they draw upon the wisdom, research and practical theorising of decades.
