Please be advised that unqualified teachers applying for a skilled workers visa will be subject to the absolute minimum salary threshold for the skilled workers route of £20,480. This will apply to salaried teacher trainees and overseas qualified teachers working towards English QTS. Anyone who earns at least this amount, has a job offer for a teaching post from an approved sponsor, and can speak English will earn sufficient points to obtain a skilled workers visa.
